The perfect finishing touch to decorating is filling my house with some Christmas tunes. So it was mandatory that I get 'A Very She & Him Christmas'...and on vinyl. I love Zooey's classic voice, so perfect for the classic Christmas songs ("I'll Be Home for Christmas", "Baby It's Cold Outside", etc.). The album cover art is great, red vinyl, and a little bonus Christmas card from Matt & Zooey. Cute! And I threw in some soul from Otis Redding (also mandatory for my vinyl collection). Opening these, it felt like Christmas already!
Yesterday, I received one of my "Black Friday" purchases. (Yes, I can't help but do the 'one for you, one for me' deal. Yikes!) It is the most darling little dress with vintage label "Nancy of California". Great details like yellow rid-rack, brass heart shaped faux buttons, and embroidered ribbon at the sleeves and near hem for a folk-y look.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I think I got them at the beginning of spring. I know they had had a similar pair for some time, but not sure if they still have them. They are very comfortable and not too heavy. Hopefully, they recycle them into next spring.
